Our approach is precise and strategic—but also deeply personal. What truly sets Stillhouse apart is our team and our longstanding roots in the local community. We’re a close-knit, experienced group that brings consistency, care, and attention to detail to every property we manage.
Stillhouse is led by Ylana, who grew up in New York City, Paris, and Rio de Janeiro before settling in Marfa in 2007. In 2014, as Marfa’s short-term rental market was rapidly expanding, she began cleaning homes for other property managers. That early, hands-on experience shaped her vision for a service model designed to optimally support guests, homeowners, and the housekeeping and maintenance teams that are the heartbeat of any high-functioning rental operation.
Mary (who is too shy to appear online) is our Head of Housekeeping and Maintenance. She and her extended family—who form the core of the Stillhouse team—bring a rare level of craftsmanship and dedication to everything they do, from detailed cleaning and appliance repair to expert restoration work.
Mary and Ylana have worked side by side for over eight years, building a partnership rooted in trust, shared values, and an unwavering commitment to quality. That long-standing collaboration shows in the caliber of service we provide. We’re able to offer our clients a level of insight, reliability, and support that goes beyond the standard.
